Default The best Cast Nets - Full Comparison Video

Hey guys, I was able to obtain all the top cast nets in the market today. I did a full review and comparison of the nets on my channel. Here is the link to watch the video:

It took me a while to get the video done and many of the nets were donated by the manufacturers so I would REALLY APPRECIATE it if you guys would like the video and leave a comment showing support for the video.

Thanks in advance and tight lines!

No Tim Wade nets? He makes a better net than any of these.

My thoughts exactly. Ed Schumacher and Tim Wade have to be some of the best cast nets around.

I had 2 Tim Wade nets. Although his nets are good, I dont think they compare with quality of the calusa or even the fitec. Get your hands on some of these nets and that will change your mind.

I respectfully disagree on this point.
Own Calusa and a bunch of others. Last 4 I bought all Tim Wade. Buying 2 more now. They are very good and Tim customizes them to what I need. And fixes them when I snag em.

Your entitled to your own opinion as am I. This was a Tim Wade net I threw in this video

What makes a Tim Wade better then a Calusa?

The main thing that makes it better is the customization. I can specify every little thing then go to him and he will ask questions and customize it further. Also the softness and spread is easier. That was more important when I was learning. Now I can make anything open but Tim Wades are still easier. And I can catch bait better with them. But the main point of this thread is you did a wonderful video comparison.
Congratulations.

I guess your net doesn't qualify to be one of the best unless unless you donate one to HiSeaz.

I own a BlackPearl, Fitec,Ahi and Betts Nets as well as Tim Wade nets. None are bad nets but Tim"s nets are better made, throw easier and open fully. By the way the Ahi 200 series is Ahi's least expensive net with lead weights.

I never considered a barracuda since they were released after I acquired all the nets. I would categorize a Barracuda more of a custom custom branded net like Tim Wades and Ed Shumaker Nets. Didnt want to included custom nets for this video. And not all of the nets were donated, only 4 out of 7. The Ahi i have in the video is the Pro series net, not the regular 200.

Yes, a Tim Wade net has something very special going for it. If you do a lot ot cast netting and notice that after hauling your net in a bunch of the net has over run the horn it won't happen with a Tim Wade net. You get the other nets aboard and have to mess with digging down and straitening out to get the horn out from other parts of the net. It's because Tim Wade nets are attached to the horn differently than many of the other nets. Look at them and you will see.
