Default Do you know source for this HD Heat Shrink

I have tried 3 local tackle shops with no luck. Does anyone know a source for this heavy duty heat shrink used on hook/crimp connections?

are you talking about something different than your basic electrical heat shrink you buy in rolls and short pieces, because that is way to thin and not what I'm looking for - I think

I know everyone is trying to help, but what I am looking for is not regular heat shrink. It is soft and thicker than normal heat shrink. Maybe it is proprietary, I don't know, but it is on several of my trolling baits.

We used to make our own assist hooks for jigs. We did various heat shrink in black, red and also glow.

Below is one of our past sources. You can buy in various thickness, size etc.

You may be looking for something a little different but I assure you this does the trick. Also try contacting Wayne at catchalltackle for non typical heat shrink as you talk about. Perhaps larger for marlin and wahoo rigs. Another suggestion is call RJ Boyle as they make such rigs with tubing also

I have extra if you want no charge just shipping. Pm me if interested.

that offwhite stuff in your picture looks a lot like what I am looking for. I think what it is, is heavy/thick wall heat shrink. Anyway I found some and ordered it. If it's not what I am looking for I'll PM you. The stuff in my picture is of a Billy Bait BTY.

PS: JoseG, yes, rubbery, soft, but not really flexible.

I don't know where you can get it but yes it's like double thickness not the stuff you generally get when you buy heat shrink for wiring. This stuff is not flexible when it hardens. I got some from a guy on here when I bought a bunch of cable, if you find it sent me a pm I'd like to get some more.

Was it our glue lined heat shrink? I remember you doing an order with us earlier in the year, that qualified for the free hat deal (around the time we started stocking bulk cable and heat shrink). However, I can't seem to find it in the system.

No, it was from a regular guy in the classifieds... I've never tried yours.

Are you sure it's shrink tubing? Looks more like the Glo Deep Drop Crimp Protecter material.
