Default Best sabiki for hard tails-Venice Yellowfin

Headed to Venice, looking for yellowfin!

What size? 8?
How about main line and dropper lb test?
Is flouro worth it or needed?

We use a 14 sabiki to get goggle eyes , I wouldn't use anything less than 20lb test . Heavier weight to keep them from tangling up

You'll want to get some smaller sabiki rigs to target the small hardtails. Find a buoy or grass patch offshore to look for the small guys. 1-2 oz weight are usually sufficient. I usually use a spinning real whatever is handy to drop the sabiki down and jig that bastard fast. Keep the drag loose so as not to straighten out the hooks or pop the lines. Bring twice as many packs as you think you'll need. Good luck
