i took a basket ball air filler needle and dremmelled of the tip. i actually have two grease guns like that. the first has brass compression fittings from the plumbing section of my local hardware store. the second has a brass fitting that just so happened to have perfectly matching threads. when i bought a small "el cheapo" air compressor, this brass fitting was in the pack of accessories. hey, some days it's jelly side up!
one time i ran out of mini grease tubes and had to use stuff from the tub. it took forever to grease all those tiny little screw holes!

Most engeneeirng supply places would be able to help sourcing one of those. They are called needle point grease fittings here in Oz,
so I would say it would be similar there. Only worth a couple of bucks.

Since I couldn't find the compression fittings to properly make the jump from grease gun to inflating needle, I ended up having to solder a brass compression fitting to a brass washer to the (plated) brass inflating needle. It works, though...also good for lubricating guns, locks and all kinds of stuff!

True value hardware stores carry a needle with a zerk fitting on the end. Just snap it onto the grease gun (no unscrewing anything). I use one to deflate fish with expanded air bladders... Works great and the needles are stainless. Arlon
