Don't think it's 18 feet, but it's a moose

Wanna bet some of the ROV driver's buddies are fishing around that rig in the near future?

Giant momma bluefin for sure.....18 ft???? NO WAY... that would be about 216" fish...LOL.....even a 12' tuna at 144" would be over 2000# and about 40 years old!!!

I used some image manipulation software and if the riser really is 4 feet the tuna measured 15 feet. Still not 18 feet but a lot bigger than I thought it looked.

Anybody seen the short video of big ol bluefin being cut and they open the stomach and probably a 40 to 70 lb blue or yellowfin tuna comes out still in pretty good condition.

If that pipe is 4', that tuna is at least 15'.

From wikipedia entry on Atlantic Bluefin:

Fully mature adult specimens average 2–2.5 m (6.6–8.2 ft) long and weigh around 225–250 kg (496–551 lb). The largest recorded specimen taken under International Game Fish Association rules was caught off Nova Scotia, an area renowned for huge Atlantic bluefin, and weighed 679 kg (1,497 lb) and 3.7 m (12 ft) long.
