Default Rod pairing for a Shimano Baitrunner 8000

Just purchased a Shimano Baitrunner 8000 OC for assorted kite, bottom, and popper fishing.

Having a dilemma picking a nice matching rod. Reel is spooled with 30lb braid.

What rod that I can put my hands on at Bass Pro, Gander, etc do you guys recommend?

Don't want a heavy boat rod.

Like the Shimano Terramar 8' and the St Croix Tidemaster 8', but think it may be too lite for this application.

Shimano Tallus is nice but they only have it in the 6'9" application.

The rods are below $ 150.

Also a fan of Crowder too, but never seem to be able to find them at this price and needed size.

We use these and they are great rods with a great warranty. Right off the shelf at bass pro.
