Default Lure'M In Blue Marlin caught off Stuart FL Dec 2015 , 350+- Lbs

An Epic Battle was had on the Lure'M In fishing boat with a #350 +- Blue Marlin right out of Stuart FL. caught on a ‪#‎miniF‬ custom lure. We were not expecting a marlin out on the hunt for sailfish. And to see this beauty so close to FL is a rarity. It was caught and leader-ed on a tiny Avet LX with a 40lb leader.

It was an epic day boys! My back and shoulders still hurt, hell of a catch for a 2 man crew but we pulled it off!

Absolutly insane. What lures do you usually run for sailfish this time of year? Can you post a picture of the lure you took her on?

With the 40lb leader we had on it it was pretty much impossible to get to the surface but we did have it swimming about a ft underwater from the side of the boat, where we were able to estimate some measurements. But the pictures we took you cant see it through the water.

Yes sir, if im not live bait drifting or im trolling to get a hookup to start drifting I use a few different things specifically for Sails.

My exact spread is mini F, mini B, Crazy swim, and 2 custom bird/squid teasers with 45LC's on the end.

That marlin was caught on the mini F in the picture from top to bottom its the 3rd one down, makes awesome top water action which is what im after Sailfishing. The daisy chains do a fantastic job of attracting the fish in and they either bite that or go for the mini lures..

That's just awesome. Great job closing on the deal too, 40 pound leader and sailfish gear, that's the stuff!
