Default Miami fishing mid January

Found out today I'll be in Miami January 15-17, planning to fish Saturday. I will probably be by myself as the admiral will be in meetings Saturday so a party boat is most likely what I'm going to do but am open to a charter if necessary. Who do I fish with and for what?

Undoubtably sails. I'd go with Captn skipper gentry as my first choice or the guys from angler management (they're incredible, they landed a BLUE MARLIN off west palm) and then I'd fish with bouncer smith if they're booked

Probably should have put this in the original post but I'd prefer to bottom fish if possible. Skipper Gentry and Bouncer Smith are on my short list if I have to book a charter. Who are the top bottom fish guys in the Miami area?

You could also do a night time tarpon trip. When the shrimp are running (and in january they usually are) the tarpon fishing around lighted bridges can be insane. There are a number of places to fish for mangrove snapper and a few grouper spots as well. Lots of options, just in case the weather is gnarly.

id recommend Skipper Gentry for sailfish because I've fished with him and he is a first class guy who knows how to fish, but for bottom fishing Bouncer is tough to beat.

Default fishing charter

I recommend Capt Jon Cooper Diversion for any type of fishing.
