Default Braid with mono backing

I have a shimano torium and shimano tyranos and going to be going to a tortugas trip in august. I wanted to see if anyone has any good recommendations as to what kind of braid to get to and if i should back it with mono? and if so, how much mono?

I like Sufix 832 for any rods that I am casting and I use the Sufix performance braid on my conventional rods. For bottom fishing, I like the metered braid which has 5 different colors in 25' increments.

I have all my avet lx 6.0 lined with 150 yds 30lb mono, then 300 yds 50lb hi vis powerpro, then a 30 ft topshot of 50lb mono for shock purposes. Mostly use them for kiting but they work just as well on the bottom too.

I have been a powerpro guy since it was introduced and have never steered away from it. Does just what I need for a braided line.

I have the same setup and backed my 30's with 40lb momoi diamond something around 150-200 yards or so does the trick.
