Headed to Cabo next week, fishing with Red Rum! Any fishing reports or suggestions of places to go eat, party etc?

Lots of good places to eat here. All of the popular "touristy" spots are mentioned above. some of our favorites are: Misiones De Kino, Catrina de mis Sabores, Hacienda Cocina y Cantina and Mis Suenos. If you rent a car head up toward Todos Santos and stop at Art and Beer. No shortage of places to party. If you fish take some of your catch to Baja Cantina on the marina and they will fix it right for you. Tell Ryan and Brooke at Red Rum and old THT guy said howdy

Their lobster omelette is good as most of their cheap breakfast. They have cheap tequila shots too. nice cheap place to eat within walking distance of the marina

I own a condo above the Red Rum office at Marina Cabo Plaza. Restaurants and shopping are just a short walk and it's right on the marina. Been a while since I've be down there.
Red Rum was sold to the current owner since my last trip down. I hope to get back down there this winter.
Have fun and tight lines.

Thats been a long while, the Canadian couple who owned it sold it to John and Ryan Donovan at least 7 years ago. Come on back down!! Cabo Marina Plaza is a great economical place to stay right in the heart of the marina.

Planing on it this year.
Lulu has been managing the condo for us and renting it out, taking care of taxes, electric bill, fidecomiso, "spelling" and condo dues. We missed all of the annual annual meetings and voted by proxy. Need to start using it or put it up for sale. Time goes by too fast!

One of my favorite places to eat is an itallian restaurant on the side streets called Salvatores. Great food at fair prices and a nice scene. If you get tuna or wahoo while fishing take it to Nick San and let them make you a sashimi and sushi dinner ten different ways with your fish. Friends that have experienced it think its the best ever. I also like La Dulce for pizza and Mi Casa for Mexican

Was in Cabo in March, wasn't my favorite vacation spot but the fishing was pretty good, we weren't there during prime season and still caught 5 stripes and broke off another. Never did get to try for a rooster, it blew the first and last several days we were there. There was a good sushi restaraunt right on the marina that we liked. Book it through the airport unless you want to get harassed by the time share sales people.

Just got back, fished Tuesday and we had a great day! Caught 2 Sails and had a 3rd close to the boat. Also picked up 10 YFT and 8 Dorado. We fished with Red Rum on 19's Toy, I can't say enough about them, they were so easy to communicate with, the boat was very clean, equipment in great shape, most importantly they put us on the fish. The next day, one of the boats in the fleet caught 3 of the 4 fish for the grand slam! I would highly recommend Red Rum if you are heading to Cabo! -ate tacos and ceviche at Gardenias, if you are in Cabo definitely don't miss that place! wish i had one here in Savannah! Tight lines
