Default Which Frequency for shallow water use

I have a Garmin 547XS and the transducer is an Airmar TM150M. I found I can change frequency's on the sounder and the transducer says frequency's range between 95 and 155 KHZ.

Questions are, what frequency would be best for water 30 ft deep and shallower when not using the chirp option? I assume it would be the highest frequency the transducer is capable of or 155KHZ. When using the chirp option can I change frequency's on it as well or are they fixed, and if I can change the freq. while using chirp what would be best for more shallow water operation.
Thanks

Sorry, wrong forum

Sorry to hijack, I'm considering the TM150M for my 547XS. Anyone know how shallow I can go and still pick up bottom (interested in bottom only at this point, not fish)
