Default $25,000 Fluke

The Staten Island Tuna Club is having a Fluke Tournament on August 9, 2014, with a $25,000 pay out for a fluke over 10lbs

This is nuts , $25k for a fluke only 10 lb or bigger , I so in this tournament .

No BS guys. In addition to the entry fee of $100 per boat, there will be a doormat division which is another $100 to enter. We are anticipating over 100 boats to enter this tournament.

Was in a presumably much smaller tournament in Greenport, LI in early June (hosted by Billy's on the Bay). With under 50 boats in the tourney (and counting the Calcuttas), winner walked away with over $5k. I'd imagine a bigger tournament could easily offer $25k in prizes.
