Default Shark Bang Stick ?

Just couldn't get the last Mako to die before we brought him aboard. cut his throat, racked his gils, dragged him backwards, ect ect. considering a bang stick. any suggestions would be appreciated.

What if he wasn't fishing for shark? What if he was fishing for mahi and picked one up? Further - what if he was trolling for mahi, hooked a Mako, recognized the Mako as a Mako - and said "hey - Mako shark is really good to eat...let's keep it."

Then what?

That's a true story by the way from a couple of weeks ago - a tournament boat ran into the exact same scenario with no way on board to quickly dispatch it...

Bring aboard all 102 of Darkwing1's THT posts then read them out loud to the shark thus boring him to death.

The reason for the question is I was attempting to dispatch the next shark as soon as possible to limit the suffering of an animal that I have the utmost respect for. It is true, I am new to offshore and Mako fishing and the fisherman on this forum have been extremely helpful with any questions asked and I thank them for their help. Guys like you only hurt the forum and make guys not want to post. I won't respond to you again as you assume to much and brought nothing but contempt to someone you know nothing about. Fisherman like you
only hurt the forum and the sport. That is my humble opinion, but I doubt it will make any difference with someone like you. (Darkwig)

Sever the spine will immobilize it, guaranteed every time.
I wouldn't say it's humane though and not necessarily dead either
