Default Outrigger halyard stops

What are they called and are there any that are a bit nicer than the standard plastic ball or cork float?

I swear I have seen some that look almost like lure heads...

sure, you can make them or buy them. I use rubber superballs.I just drill a hole. last for years and don't make noise. any thing that is round and durable is ok and then cover with your favorite bait skirt. lil- bubbler, squids, have at it.

I use wine corks. Simple, easy and I paint them up to look all nice. Haha

But really I do use wine corks.

You can use moldcraft mini hookers or squidnation stub masters with the skirts cut off. Or if you can find moldcraft bubblers you can use them.

LMR tackle has some nice abalone resin head stops. A little pricey, but they look good, and have held up for over a year without chipping, although they do yellow a bit like a resin head lure.
