Default Garmin 2010 w/ fish finder

Figuring most fishing folk have fish finders, anyone out there buy the Garmin 2010 or 2006 chart plotter and used there depth finder option ($300). Short on space and the chartplotter is nice.

Thanks,
Mike

I have a 2006c on my 18' CC that I fish 90% of the time on a 150' lake and 10% of the time in the gulf. I think the FF module works very well for me. I had a 600L and did not like it at all. Hard to see in sun and with polarized glasses and very low resolution.

Only drawback is in being a combo unit but I knew that going in.

Color makes the mapping and FF very easy to see and distiguise what your looking at.

8 meg chip that software comes on can be used as a data chip after installing software.

$250 at online marine

I have a 2006C. bought the GSD 20 (black box fish finder). Airmar is making their new (M260 I think is the model??) in hull transducer w/ temp sensor (temp sensor will mount on transom, will install in hull' ducer in bilge).....I should receive it next week.

As soon as I get it installed I will post a report of what I think of it, here in electronics section. will try to include photos.

I realy like the split screen option with the blue chart. it has been vberry acurrate and makes findind the humps and piles easier.
