Default Who makes the best buffs?

Looking to grab a few buffs and am curious on some opinions of the best buffs out there. I tried to do a search but all I bet is a hundred topics about boat waxing.

Thanks for any of your advice!

They are on sale at Bass Pro in Ft Myers.
I use an old bandana but I see these all the time.

Columbia. Made out of their freezer material. 100% cooler and better than the others on the market.

Check Simms, I've had a few buffs and moving to the Simms gaiter was a definite step up. The Simms is tapered for a much better fit, vented for breathing and is made outta better material.

I have always made fun of these things. But now im getting spots on my arms and need to get them checked out. So i have been covering up with long sleeves and thinking about getting one of these.

Are they uncomfortable? Do you still wear sunscreen?

Same here. Getting old is a b*tch, eh!

Yes, I do still wear sunscreen and yes they are comfortable, not hot. I'm not into the "bandito" look but they do save your bacon on the sunny days.

The Columbia looks nice. I have a few shirts and I got the Powerdrain shoes for Father's day. Needless to say, I like Columbia fishing gear.

I think I'll order one of those.

I have the Powerdrain's too and love them.
I use sunscreen and a buff due to a large chunk of flesh hacked off my temple. The buff is a more cotton like material and the others mentioned are microfiber. Get a couple and try them out to see what is best for you. One thing I found out is the buff will rub sunscreen off so once you put the buff on, leave it on.
I also like this one but you need to fit it over the back of a ball cap because it will slide down:

I bought two from breathlikeafish and I am happy with them. These are the first ones that I have owned so I don't really have a broad ability to compare. But so far so good....

Those look nice as well. Maybe I will get one of those and one of the Columbia's. Yeah, that sounds like a plan.

X2 they are like my hockey jerseys if there is a breeze they are super cool, no breeze and it gets hot. The face mask is built into the shirt. No gaps to worry about and it covers your neck when you aren't using it for your face.

I've used breathlikeafish and buff's. I definitely like the breathlikeafish better. Softer material and the breath holes are nice to keep the glasses from fogging.

On a side note - dont wear these into a bank, gun shop or Cash for gold type Jewelry store. They seem to frown upon it.

if you don't need all of the fancy "freezer" technology or the extra UV protection that the name brands claim, try these...
http://www.tansclub.com/tuba.html

i've bought from them numerous times. look at the pricing. 3 bucks for one buff. I usually buy in bulk and then distribute amongst friends. These do the job just like Buff or Columbia or whatever else is out there. They might not have the bells and whistles, but you also aren't paying for the bells and whistles. Do I think my face will off sooner because these don't have UPF50 written on the side? nope.

Take two with you on each trip. Wear one, stick one in cooler, if you get too hot switch and welcome to my AC. Don't knock it to you try it.
