Default Outrigger suggestions please.

Thinking about adding 15' 1.5" telescoping Taco Outriggers with 270 bases to my Sea Hunt 232 with fiberglass top. Thoughts?

Default Taco

If you can go w/the 350's you won't have to climb up to raise and lower them

Why not spend the extra $100 or so for the 18'? You can always run your spread narrower, but I guess the downside would be more flex. The 270 base is excellent. Alltackle.com has some pretty good prices

Something else I would suggest is to look at the Rupp telescoping poles in place of the Tacos. I have had both and the Rupps are a work of art comparatively. A lot of people find that they are less flimsy as well.

I realize that the 350s can adjust height as well. I've heard that the 18s tend to bend easier.

I've bent an 18' Taco by not trying too hard. Have yet to bend the Rupp. The 15' should give you no problem as long as you set your releases properly

No real need to get the 350 base unless you have a hard time reaching the top.
