Default Cabo Fishing Report

I am heading to Cabo on Monday and we are going out fishing with Mucho Loco.
Anyone know how the fishing is now?
Anyone been out with Mucho Loco?

I am far from the local expert but the last I heard, fishing has been terrible supposedly due to cold water produced by a La Nina weather pattern. Hopefully SanCocho will fill us in. I will be there in May so hope it is good.

You'll have a great time. Fishing in Cabo is always at least decent...sometimes it's slow, meaning you'll only catch a few marlin, and tuna, and dorado. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

If you don't catch fish, your boat sucks. The sea of cortez is FILLED with fish; you will find fish. Some boats take you on a short ride, with no fish. I've never heard of the boat your're going on...doesn't mean anything, might be a great boat.

If you catch nothing, call Picante.

While the fishing has been slow for this time of year there are some nice fish being produced. A Blue pushing 500lbs was realeased and then this 380 lb Sword was landed just a couple days ago. There are quite a few charters in Cabo and some are better than others so I wish you the best.

I should have said that I love Cabo and wasn't trying to say anything bad. Just repeating what I have been hearing because we are going back in May. So far, Cabo is my favorite fishing destination and I think this is the 4th time going since 2003 or 2004.
