Default Now spooling Tyrnos 20 and 30's....line recommendations?

Will be mostly used for kite fishing, especially the Tyrnos 20's. Wouldnt mind having the 30's as backup for trolling or dolphin and tuna rigs. Since the kite fishing is what i will be doing alot of in the future, i need a line that will have minimal belly and weight so to not drag down the kites in light winds.

Was thinking backing with 50 or 60lb braid and top shot of 20lb mono, probably Momoi Hi Catch. Love the Tyrnos reels with huge capacity(700 yards of 20lb) and beefy drags. This will allow me to fly the kites waaaaay back and have plenty of line. With the 30lb test i have on now there is just too much belly.

thx in advance

I would spool it with the 20lb Diamond instead of the Hi Catch. Higher breaking strength and a little bit harder finish. That is what I have on my Avet LX's for kite fishing.

I would keep 30lb on the 30's if you will be using them for trolling.

It doesn't have any more than I have had with Suffix or Ande Monster. I also run a 1 oz sinker above the float for a little extra weight and try to keep the kite lower to the water.

im a Momoi lover so it's between the hi catch and the diamond....price not really being a concern. The diameter was my concern. What do u think about the braid backing?.....50-70lb or so? thx
