Default HUGE Dolphin

This image was just forwarded to me via e-mail. Supposedly, the new world record dolphin, weighing in at 112lbs. It was caught while fishing off Bimini. Anybody have any more info on this?

I have no idea. It was sent through a friend of a friend, so on and so forth... Amazing fish, and one lucky son of a gun!

I just searched it and found the previous post about it. According to the e-mail I got it was caught off Bimini around New Year's, but I guess it makes sense something that giant would be caught in Panama. Thanks for the correct info guys.

Are those mountains or clouds on the horizon?

What a monster wherever it was caught!

Big ones do swim in the Bahamas. Dont know about a 100 pounder but we caught a 68 back in 1996 or so.

That fish was caught by Dennis Braid in Panama and never weighed. the story goes that he didnt realize how big it was until he saw the pictures later. All we can do is guess about how big it was. Needless to say it is not a new world record.

Mike that's a big damn fish! What was the biggest one you saw while fishing in Samoa? I remember as a kid seeing a big one caught there, but I couldnt tell you how big. Made any lures recently? I got a crop that is in the works now......
