We have a pair of the Tigress clamp-on mounts with 1 1/8" Taco retractable poles on the T-top. I like the mounts alot, but would not get the Taco poles again. Installation of the mounts includes drilling a hole in the tube that the mount attaches to. A pin on the mount fits into this hole to prevent the clamp-on mount from rotating. It works well. I mounted them on a bar under the T-top, with a good up-angle in the set position. We can deploy the riggers without standing on the gunnel. T-top mounting preserved the 360 degree fishability of the CC. I have the halyards rigged to the handrail at the back of the T-top. I can easily take a rod with a fish on below the outriggers and rigging to get to the bow.

The 1 1/8" poles work well for light duty trolling i.e single rigged, pulling a lure or bait. If double rigging or pulling spreaders/teasers, I have seen the 1 1/2" Tigress retractable poles recommended by others on THT. I've read that they have a track for the pole release buttons that makes them stiffer.
