Default Trawl boat striper kill off NC

Due to North Carolina Marine Resources Commission mismanagement, more trawl boats dumped thousands of dead stripers up to 34# this week off Oregon Inlet. According to Patricia Smith, spokesperson for NCDMF, culling is a normal part/practice in fishing. Pictures are available on the web for any who care to see the most recent carnage.
