Anyone catching any cod in the Plymouth, Scituate, stellwagen area??

Friend went out last weekend and tried all over the bank and every spot in between there and plymouth, 5 fish all day. I think i might try my luck east of the gurnet this weekend, prob sunday. Ill keep you posted.

Well weatherman says good weather this weekend so it looks like I will be making a trip to the bank, as long as my fuel sending unit comes in

Maybe heading out of Green Harbor this weekend for my first attempt at cod. Will be staying fairly close in as I'm in an 18'. You guys suggest clams, jigs? Any tips?

clams for hadock,,, or srimp... and that's there favorite food... jigs for the cod... that's where you get the big ones... on jigs..

I assume you'll be around the H-buoy and scarlets ledge. I recommended a 16 oz diamong jig. Those norwegian are too much strain and often get hung up, work over the lobster pots. Don't expect to find any haddock that shallow and close to shore.
