Default Not ong lines but just as bad

Hi from rushman,

Fishing in the canaries has been pretty good the last 2 -3 weeks, I have had 40 tuna ranging from 90 kilos down to 12

I like catch and release, we are allowed 3 fish per person, no doubt some people keep more for the table.

My last outing last week has stopped me going out for a while. We came upon some 30 commercial fishing boats most fishing bamboo poles and short lenghts of mono, they spray water around the boat to attract the fish, but there is a limit to what they can get before the fish move on, these I do not mind. But the 6-7 that were using nets, if they saw the fish rise or saw them on there sona they would rush in throw a net around them and lift all out of the water
regardless of size, if there is a limit to what they can take it was not obvious. after 2 days of this slaughter what can be left.

I must be getting soft in my old age.
