Default More Fishermen getting involved than ever before

I was at the Long Island Sportsman Show yesterday. I wanted to see how aware the general public is about the new regulations. As I was shopping and I saw a guy looking at fluke balls, I would ask, “With the new regulations, are you sure your even going to able to use those?”. I have to let you know, EVERYONE knows about the new regulations and NOBODY is happy about it. Even the speakers (especially Capt Bob Rochetta) urged people to get involved.

The RFA and CCA were also there. I am sure fisherman will start to support politicians that back our causes. People were picking up cards at the RFA booth to support the Freedom to Fish Act (H.R. 2890) starting to believe in their “I fish: I Vote motto.

Is it my imagination or do you guys also notice the average fisherman is taking more notice than ever before?
