Default Cape codders

What does everyone use for wireless phones? My service is up soon, and it would be good to have a service that would work on the water. Any thoughts?

I am happy with Verizon. I was working on the pipe line job in Mass Bay and it worked fine.

Verizon also. I've found a few spots where the coverage was lost but nothing like my buddies Nextel. He has to use my phone most of the time.

I have sprint and verizon. Sprint is better all around boston except quincy. On the cape they are about equal. On land Harwich and chatham suck for both companies but out in the ocean off chatham the sprint digital is good for 10 miles. The analog is good for 18-20.

I have Cingular, and though it does not always work well on land it works great at sea (coastal). I have had it from Newport to Boston. I always have a signal.

My company is based on Boston, but travel all over US, Canada and Puerto Rico. They've used AT&T & Sprint before switching to Verizon. Verizon has by far the best coverage in most all areas of the country ... including New England. Complaints have been non-existant since switching to Verizon.

I agree with the Verizon folks. I have AT&T but Verizon is the way to go. I'll stick with AT&T and see what happens now that they've merged with Cingular.
