Default Anyone used the Penn Formula 15kg or bigger?

I was wondering if any one has used these reels. They are a good looking reel, just wondering if they are as good as they look. I am currently getting geared up before I take the plunge and get a boat. I already have a 30wlrs and 50wlrs tiagra, and I am looking to have a mixed bag of really good reels.

I have a coupleof the 10LD's.. they are the one speeds... they are super smooth and worth the $$.. I would have bought the 2-speeds, but just thought for this size, it was just unnecessary... the reason I post the smaller reel is that the drag system is the same even tho the gears & ratios are different... hope it helps to confuse you further... haha

Seriously, they are good reels for the money and I would definatly buy their big brotheres... I am a big Penn fan.

My fishing partner has four 15kg's, they are very good reels and I like the two speed, we only have one season on them (dolphin and a few tuna) and they have performed flawlessly. I think the 15's are a little small for tuna 24's would be better but the 15's are perfect for the dolphin.

Love my 15LD's. Drags are really smooth. Your Kg's should be even better! What a steal!
