Default What are you doing to reduce line twist?

As fishing season begins I thought it would be helpful to share some ideas about reducing line twist. Things like

For Spinning reels:
Flip the bail manually rather than letting the reel flip it and induce twist.
letting a long length out without anything tied to it behind a boat and then reel it back in
etc.

What are you doing?

since loading up all of my spinning reels with braided line, the line twist issue is something I had completely forgotten about. Not to say that it doesn't happen, it might, but I sure don't notice it anymore.

Not a preventative measure but a good cure.

Remove all terminal tackle and while under power drag just the line behind the boat for a few minutes...That will get rid of the twist.

Don't reel against the drag on a spinning reel and spend the money on Sampo ball bearing swivels.
