Default Another Lead Core question

What reels do you use with lead core and why ? I am using Penn 209s, they work real good and are economical, but the retrieve is slow, 3:1.

Thanks gang !!

Hotspot- Pick up a couple Penn 330GTI's- I've got 4 of them for core and they work great. If you have extra $$$$ to burn, the Shimano Tekota is a great reel also. The 330GTI is the standard of choice on the Great Lakes. You won't go wrong with those.

i use penn 112h senators, they will fit a whole spool of leadcore plus backing. it's nice to have extra line if you break off.
