Hye, you just have to check around and compare. No one site (including ours) has the best prices on everything. Sometimes sports authority, basspro, west marine etc..... runs specials that are cheaper than I buy product for. These boards are great for finding out whos running the best deals at a given time. Email us if we can help.

It does depend what you are looking for, I have purchased reels and tackle at www.srmo.com very good old company, I buy my rods from Chaos in Florida, worth the little bit more in cost.

I have also purchased through this company with very good results (including returns):

Like the other post stated, no one perfect source.

e-bay.
Bought 7 rods and reels last year.
Saved $500.00 (includes shipping) under the best store prices I could find.

Try charkbait in California. He generally has great prices and you east coasters save sales tax. He also offers some custom reel side plate engraving that looks real cool
He also offers the avet reels that are a real bargain. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

Consider supporting your local tackle shop instead. Most local shops struggle to make a living.
