Default Taco Marine stepped up!

I posted earlier that my new taco outrigger flew off my T-Top last weekend. I fugured this was going to be very expensive, new pole, rigging kit, and caddy. Well I called Taco and spoke with their warranty department. After hearing my story they thought about it for a day they called back and are sending me a refurbrished pole, rigging kit and caddy! Customer service like that is rare and very appreciated.

I have no affiliation with Taco but would like to give credit where its due.

That's great news! Glad you were able to get it taken care of by Taco.

That's refreshing. Just when you think customer service is dead some company goes and does a great thing toward good will and customer service. Good job Taco, your on my list for referrals and definitely when I need outriggers. Come to think of it I think my current outriggers are Taco.

Great to hear MattH. I had great customer service from them as well. The sent me new pins free of charge for my 250A mounts when I lost a couple.
Also, their tech service guy, Hank I think his name is, is awesome and helped me a lot during installation.

Now that's how you treat customers. No finger pointing, no blaiming the installer or the owner, just a few bucks to make it quietly right.

Awesome. Much better than Okuma did with my two broken CD90s. Now when I'm buying outriggers, this will be in my mind. And that day is not far away.

That settles it, I've been wanting to put a set of outriggers on my boat and was considering the Taco GS-250A

I hope to not have to talk to their customer service department, but it sounds like if I need to that they listen.

I too have received excellent service from Taco. A company is only as good as thier customer service and Taco can be proud of thier's.

I had a TACO base that broke out of warranty and they sent me TWO at no charge. You can't beat that!
