That is a beautiful ride! If my golf buddy bails on me I'll follow you down the South fork on Saturday and accompany you through the locks. Me thinks the baby tarpon will be chewing on the Okeechobee side of the locks...

Thank you again everyone.

Now back to trolling for pelagic's off Tampa Bay. Don't want to divert the focus of this awesome thread. But did want to answer the question that some asked regarding what was next for me.

Perfect post for this thread. The new boat is just the ticket for what I consider a multi day excursion to the steps. Them center consoles are fine for you young thunder cats. I have done my share of overnight trips in them.

I will take the a/c and a real bed any day.

Beautiful boat Brinkley. Nice cruise speed and economy as well. Looks like the helm has a/c also. If so, that makes a late night chug on the way out very tolerable and can really extend your range.

Read all 102 pages. You guys are a continued advertising machine for the wonders of offshore fishing. Have nothing to contribute other then a bit of drool on my keyboard thanks to Brinkley's new ride. Keep up the reports. Trying for some nearer shore deep dropping on Saturday despite the rain.

I'm actually the only one happy about the wind and fronts...My new girl is still on the hard. Transom wrap looked good but not perfect. They are pulling it off, reprinting it, and reinstalling it soon.

New bottom paint
New Prop Speed
New cutlass bearings
New underwater lights
Wheels laser straightened
One shaft pulled and straightened
