Friend saved all my grouper gps spots secretly on two trips. What would you do?

I just found out yesterday that a friend I took fishing had a device in his pocket and saved each spot I took him to during two trips. They were my ten or so best red grouper holes that I found while on my boat over the past three years (not given to me or public numbers). He pinged them on a device and loaded them into his boat’s GPS. He doesn’t know that I know. I am supposed to go camping with my family and his family next weekend. What would you say or do?

If he's my friend, I'm sharing my numbers under a promise not to share. If he's secretly stealing numbers, he'd never go on my boat again. Odd friendship ya there.

Who cares? Is it that special? Is that where you caught the record holder? Are the fish jumping into the boat at those locations? Is it in the ocean? Geez.... you said it was a friend. Just saying

If you are 100% sure, call him a scumbag to his face tell him why, and then go kill all the fish. And find a new friend to kill all the fish with. And narc him out when he keeps grouper during closed season. And of course, bang his wife.

Is it really that bad? They are fishing spots, not the location of treasure or secret spy info, you know what he does, accept it and move on.

Verify the intel, and if confirmed, tell as many people that you can who he is, what he did, his boat's name or other description, and where he works. Start here. Build him a reputation.
He's no better than a common thief, and he betrayed your friendship. That's the worst part. I couldn't stand to be around him after that.

My humble opinion....approach him and say you hope what you’re about to tell him isn’t true, but you have been led to believe that the last time you took him fishing he captured your numbers for his own use. Explain the time and effort you spent finding them and that you haven’t shared them with anyone. Say if it’s true, you’re really surprised and disappointed to hear he betrayed your trust.
See how he reacts.

I never get it. I am not a commercial guy and don’t rely on what I catch to feed my family so when I find a great spot I share it with all my buddies that fish. I wouldn’t imagine that someone would have to steal it from me...

Go camping this weekend. Climb into his tent and lay down with his wife. When he asks “wtf are you doing”. Say “what? I thought we share spots bro”

If he is a legit friend, ask him what’s up. I find it sketchy he would secretly log the spots. Do you think he was too afraid to ask you or something?
my friends and I share our “spots” all the time. Along with tips, advice, tackle etc.... that’s why we call them friends. Friends you trust.
regardless of it all, take Water50’s advice and bang his wife.

Shove a dead sailcat way under the backseat of his car or truck.
And why isn’t his house and boat on fire yet?
And it goes without saying bang his wife.

He owes you 3 cases of beer per spot PLUS one case of beer for every keeper pulled from each spot from now until the end of time.
Beer brand is your choice, but no micro brews or weird overpriced European crap.
