Nice job pulling the two men ejected overboard onto your Sporty in OCMD inlet ! Really well done and with great situational awareness! A 24' CC pitchpoled in the shoaling at the inlet mouth and ejected both Captain and passenger.
Saw the whole thing unfold from land. Captain wasn't wearing a lanyard and his unmanned 24' CC kept motoring into the north rocks 100 feet from where I was standing. I ran down the jetty rocks barefoot like I was gonna do something to stop the boat, but the rocks did better than I could.
Hope those 2 men are okay!

Were you wearing a blue shirt? Right after I read your post I saw a video on Instagram of a boat in Ocean City hitting the rocks and some guy running on the rocks barefoot.

Yeah man that was me. Here on vacation and happened to be watching sporty’s coming back. If you hear any news about the condition of the guys that got scooped up please let me know. Hope they went unscathed.

Great job for all that assisted but not so smart to be playing around in the rough inlet in a small boat with a few hundred big boats trying to navigate the slop.
No good reason to be there!

They would have been fine if they didn't purposefully pick a route through the shoaling and blast in at 30 knots. Other small vessels were navigating just fine.
