Default New Port Richey Offshore

Hello, first post here.
Toward the first of June we will be in Newport Richey, I was curious if someone could give me a few fishing tips about the area, good places to fish offshore? I have a 20 ft Trophy pro center console if that will help.
Thanks, Al

LOTS of action happening offshore NPR in the summer. By then the gag grouper will be open as well as ARS opens the 11th or 12th....

You can buy a 5# box of squid and a 5# box of threadfins and catch lots of stuff.

You can also start off in shallow water around the inshore reefs with sabiki rigs tipped with squid and catch a few dozen live bait that will help with grouper when you get farther out.

Give me a heads up when you get in the area and I will get you some numbers.

These gags came aboard this past Monday...they were all released, but will only get better..

Thanks again, Al
