Default Nomad dtx 200 minow hook replacement

So i tried out the new nomad dtx 200 sinking deep diving plugs. They worked really well especially since other lures were not getting hit. It was a slow day but i had several strikes on the nomads, however, nothing stuck. The lure came up really beat up with teeth marks, looked like wahoo or barracuda but i find the hooks are no good. I was thinking to change them to something similar to the rapala bonita but want to avoid upsetting the swim action. Any ideas would help.

I've caught many wahoo and barrucada bi-catch on the 200's and never an issue with the hooks.

What's the issue with the hooks?

Never had an issue with the stock hooks. You aren't running them as shown, correct? With the band?

I wouldn't worry about the swimming action and beef them up accordingly! We swap out CD30's with 4X strong treble hooks and have never had problems catching big eyes with them!

I replaced the hooks on a bunch of my plugs, including a DTX. I used the Owner 4102-199, but can't remember what size I used on the 200. You're looking for an in-line circle hook.

I replaced the Nomad hooks on all 3 lures I have with Mustads,I don't have the number handy but the Nomad hooks are crap with virtually no barb.
