Default Best Rod for Shimano Talica 20 two speed

Im looking to buy a Talica and want to use it in the NE area out of NJ. What is the best rod to match it with $350.00 or less? I want a rod that can handle larger fish also.

for most uses a 6'6" cal star grafighter or seeker black steel will work well

Chunking Bluefin and yellowfin. Sometimes Id put it out in the spread for trolling offshore for tuna or have it ready for a pitch bait if we see a white come up in the spread.

Black hole cape cod special 350 or 450.
I know they’re a little above your budget but if you can stretch it a little or find a good used one this is the top of the line and a perfect match.

There are a few other really nice jigging rods that would make great light trolling and chunking rods.
Looks like you are local in Jersey, send me a PM I can recommend a few good custom builders for you to reach out to.

I have a couple of talica 25s with pinnacle Rods. I used them for chunking for yf, trolling, and for bottom fishing. Great quality for the money. I’ve had them for about 6 years, I think.
