Default Rods for Avet EX30s

I recently purchased 6 avet ex30s. I’m looking affordable, decent quality 6’ 30-80# rods for these. Penn Rampage rods are very affordable, but I have not been able to inspect the quality. Any input on penn rampage or other suggestions.

SEA STRIKER BILLFISHER STAND UP RODS are very affordable and good rods for the price. The 30 to 80 6 footer is perfect and affordable at 63.99 each. https://halfhitch.com/sea-striker-bi...glbtest=106401

If you want to spend a bit more you can check out star rods or the Crowder Rods E Series stand up rods.

I personally Always Spend more on the reel then the rod

In my experience, Penn’s cheap gear is utter junk nowadays.

My Avet 30s are on Connley rods. Not the cheapest, but very good value for money.

Pinnacle also make great rods at fair prices.

Pinnacle XR Pro 30/80. Don't even look at anything else because it won't compete for the money.

The Shakesphere blue water ugly stick roller rods are a much better class of rod than other they make. I for one bought 4 of them after testing one against a 6455 Calsatr Graph fighter, because I thought the blank was better during the fight and the hardware equal.

Here’s the only pic I have with that rod “under load”. It’s about a 25lb yellowfin that pulled drag set at 20lbs for only about 3-4 seconds. The pic is basically just winching it in. Maybe he was pulling 10lbs tops...
