What is a duel 30?
If it's just normal speed trolling why not?

drag, line capacity, highspeed are all factors alot of people look at when selecting a reel for hoo's. I just cant find any info on them as they were an Italian company now discontinued.

Why don't you run some test and see what sought of drag you can get. If it is your normal size 30 ie Tiagra, Makaira, Penn then it should have plenty of drag.

High speed trolling for them is a different ball game but for your regular trolling this should be plenty.

I have caught wahoo on single speed Shimano tld 25s and also on Mak 15s no problem at all.

any 30 wide can catch a wahoo. but like other said probably not highspeed trolling.

If you put some 70# braid with a top shot of mono, there are not a lot of fish which you will hook that can not be landed.

I also just picked up a 30 lite.

They're great for what you're wanting to do with them.

If he happens to want to trade one for s better reel, let me know. Fr.

I collect duels. Lol
