If Mike is booked you could head 45 min south and fish out of Quepos with John's guys , he can arrange transport for you if needed . They will put you on the fish .

Bubba Carter / Tijereta. Look him up, one of the best in the business. If you can get him, do an overnight trip to the sea mount!!!!

I booked Mike on the Epic. Trip will take place in March. Very excited to get out of the cold already. My first trip to Costa Rica. I hope we like Los Suenos. Itís mostly a fishing trip. Wife turns 40, and that is where she picked to go 🤘

Great resort area. Your wife will like it and the fishing is great. Been a few years but I had a great time.

I second John out of Quepos. Had one of the best charters of my life there last year. Couple of sails, and we were the only boat on a huge tuna blitz for over 3 hours. As fast as we got lines in, we had tuna on.

Mike is awesome and you'll have a great trip up there. Thanks a ton guys for the recommends though! Next time you come if you want to switch it up, I just bought a place here in Tulemar Gardens which is a resort kinda like Los Suenos but with alot more Jungle and Ocean View. You can check out my new place here:

Make sure to post a fishing report when you get back!

Wow taxes are high, $13 per $100. That adds $312 to the charter price right from the start.

I'm pretty sure the taxes are built into the charter price , unless it says otherwise . You can also take a shuttle to LS or a private van . LS might even have it's own shuttle for the Marriott , look on their website and see . I usually fly over to Quepos , so can't help much with that . As soon as you walk outside the airport door you will have your choice of shuttle , private van or even cabs .

If you get a private driver , have him stop at the Tarcoles River so you can walk out on the bridge and check out the crocs down below . I'm not sure if the shuttles stop there though .

If you end up going to Manuel Antonio Park , try and have dinner/drinks here and watch the sunset https://www.elavion.net/

make sure and take her for the sunset/dinner at Villas Caletas one night, ten miles from LS, amazing sunset from the amphitheater and dinner is awesome.
