Default looking to add another bent but rod/reel setup

I already have one bent butt rod/reel setup with an AVET HX Raptor that I have spooled with 150lb HC braid but it only holds 250 yards which is not terrible for what we use it for but I want a little more line capacity as it will be used for trolling and deep dropping for AJ/Swordfish so I will still be running 150lb braid. I was thinking of going up to the AVET HXW but not sure how much more line capacity I can get with that. What would be your opinion for a new reel? would like to have at least 40lb max drag to get those AJ out of the wreck fast.

Just for reference sake - I use the HXW extensively. I have mine setup with 350 yds of 80lb solid core braid and 200 yds of 50lb mono topshots. They will run 15 - 18 lbs of drag at strike no problem. Much above that and you start to lose free spool. You can probably squeeze 20 out of them.

I run the single speeds - great reel - not perfect but a great bang for the buck for a recreational fisherman. Paired with pinnacle XRs they make a great stand up combo - we have caught many tuna, mahi, and marlin on them.

If you want more drag - look at the HXW Raptor
