Default Cabo Next Week

I’m headed to Cabo tomorrow morning and will be fishing RedRum charters next Wednesday November 13 I had a couple guys bail on fishing. Looking to see if anyone is interested in jumping on the charter?

Also I know the bite in mag bay has been hot! I was wondering if it would be worth the extra money to run to the Finger Banks? Are the billfish down there now or is it too early still?

Your charter should be able to tell you. The Won tuna jackpot was just on. Day 1 had a 334 cow weigh in with 8 others over 200 pounds. So the big guys are around.

The Bisbee black and blue had great marlin results

Yes , it is worth the extra money to run to Finger Bank . Was at both last Thanksgiving , released 65 stripeys in a half day of fishing at FB on our way back . That was an epic trip . Also did pretty good at FB over Christmas as well .

They have been catching decent numbers close to port the last week or so though . It is nice to fish FB with only a few boats , compared to closer to Cabo . Make a decision on going to FB when you get down there , you might do ok closer in , Are you fishing multiple days ?

thanks for the info. I will ask around the marina and see what the charter says about making the run. As of now I’m just fishing one day unless I can jump on a walk on charter. When I talked to Redrum they said it may be a little early to run there.

I saw that. I would really like to target billfish but I also wouldn’t mind a giant yellowfin either.

Keep an eye on Caliente's facebook page , Dave usually goes to FB when it's good . You could go chase YFT with Mike , he's the best tuna guy down there . And he's not expensive at all , he might be booked though . https://www.renegademikesportfishing.com/

Renegade Mike is booked solid. Charter said it’s an additional $500 to make the run. So if anyone’s in Cabo next week and wants to fish let me know!

I arrived yesterday in Cabo. My boat is down right now so I might have an interest in sharing a charter. I haven't had a chance to ask around and see what's happening out there. PM me and I'll provide a phone number and we can discuss.

fishing is Hot right now in cabo and surround areas.
Any of the boats mentioned will get you deep into the action.
Caliente - dave and Jaime as well as his son are my deep favourites.
Mike is great as well.

Stripped marlin are relatively boring in comparison to the tuna bite and blue/ black that is down there.
Badcompany for example in Bag bay just did 900 stripped marlin in 4 days with record of 330 in one.

If multiple stripped marlin is your ticket, then there is all sorts of options including FB but not required.

Well, my wife brought me back to reality. While I do have an "interest" in going fishing (see my earlier post), she pointed out that I tore a biceps tendon last week and I am supposed to be resting it. Since it is still swollen and tender (and is the left arm which pulls on the rod) I don't think marlin or tuna are the best thing for it. Looks like I will stay dry next week and work on my broken boat. Good luck on your trip with RedRum. They do a nice job. Please post your results for us.
