Default Looking for Experienced NC Coastal Fishing Buddy/Teacher

Hi Guys,
I have gotten into surf fishing quite a bit since I moved to NC 13 years ago. I recently purchased a new 21ft CC. I want to team up with someone and and learn from them. I dont want their specific fishing holes, but more over what to look for to find my spots. I want to learn as much as I can about inshore fishing and nearshore bottom fishing.

I have have done lots charters over the last few years and have the bug. I want to learn so when I take my wife and kids out, we actually catch fish.

I have friends that know fishing but we can never seem to sync our schedules . I am self employed, so it tends not to be my schedule that gets in the way. Just last weekend, my buddy canceled on me last minute, but I still went out solo, and managed to limit out on spanish in a short amount of time, so i am not totally clueless on fishing! Like I said, I have a brand new boat, rods and reels. Just need to get better at finding the fish.
If anyone is interested in teaching, I would appreciate it.

Codycat, you'd prolly get a better response posting on the Carolinas forum. That said, I'm also in Raleigh and fish out of Morehead. I keep my boat on a lift in bogue sound (23 Grady). I'm no expert but have been at this for a little while and would be happy to compare notes, buddy boat or fish together sometime.
