Yes. They have EMP weapons (Electra Magnetic Pulse). If you get too close and trip their proximity sensor, they can hit you with the EMP. You probably passed out and don;t remember it. They may have implanted a tracker on you. Did you get a migraine headache the next day? Telltale sign there was an EMP involved.

really depends on whose Navy, North Koreans can disable electronics, recall the ship wrecks last year when the USA Navy vessel "saw" nothing

Having spent ten years in the Navy, I can tell you with certainty that the can absolutely “affect” your electronic equipment. The can jam radio and radar frequencies with ease. GPS, I’m not so sure about, that wasn’t used while I was in. They do like to practice on “soft” targets. That said, they didn’t “hard kill” your equipment so don’t worry about it.

no but my teeth felt like they were falling out and my ears popped. ... I'm just gonna dissect that hockey puck thing and figure out what the problem is. I wouldn't mind them marines kicking me one of those fancy systems they use for my inconveniences...

We were running near the mouth of the Neuse River one night at around 15 knots with radar and two lookouts. Nothing unusual on the radar, though we did see a faint signature we couldn't identify. We were clearly picking up nav aids and shorelines. We were in an area near the Pamlico Sound that is used as a bombing range.

A small navy patrol boat appeared 100 yards off our bow, turned on his lights, and our radar simultaneously lit up. I almost pooped my pants, pulled the throttle to idle and tried to process what had happened. He had blocked our radar, no doubt.

I will be surprised if this thread makes it to the end of the day before the NSA shuts it down. I remember that thread about those guys that picked up a submarine on their SIMRAD and chased it down. That thread was completely wiped off the board and their accounts were erased. Never heard from those guys again. Come to think of it, I'm not feeling too safe just posting this.

The capability of the navy to jam electronic signals is hardly a secret.
