Default What Are These Tiny Guys?

Spotted them while drifting for fluke. Big, sporadic (schools) of them. Didn't seem to be associated with any fish (of course...). Definitely alive, bc they were moving.

Perhaps worms of some type? Assume you're in the north east.
Were the fluke eating them?

Honestly, not sure. LI Sound, off of Shoreham, right at Buoy 7. They're probably about the size of a keyboard key, maybe a little smaller. Nothing was feeding on them, not even birds. They were just floating and "flexing."
