Somebody got " on off" on one of my TLD 50s anyone know of a way to bring it back?

Not exactly sure about your wording "got on off on one" but I have seen the black sides go white when sprayed with cheap imitation WD40.

"On off" must me some kind of cleaner or something. Maybe some of polish would help. I'd give "Back to black" a try.

Penn’s Rod & Reel cleaner works well, I’ve used it to ‘bring back’ some side plates and such, somewhat restores them to their previous glory.

I’m just glad you didn’t mess up and switch the wording on that.

Isn't "on/off" Hydrochloric Acid or something? I don't think that's just going to come back. It's serious stuff.

The sides on those are some kind of plastic (with a fancy name) and sometimes products like Armourall will bring the black colour back.

Yes "on off" is a extreme cleaner. It turned the reel almost white, when I wet the reel it turns black again so maybe the armorall will work or some kind of vinyl protector

Maybe try The same stuff that I use to clean the black plastic fenders on my jeep. A mixture of linseed oil and paint thinner. The stuff is real flammable. So be careful with the towels that you apply it with .
