Default Wmo 2019

$6.1 million dollar purse this year.
403 boats this year.
Michael Jordan is fishing, too.

Should be good.

I ran into him there a few years back. I would venture to guess that he was having more fun than any other human being at that place.

My son is there fishing on the Viking 62 Polarizer that weighed the 277LB Mako last night. Said that Catch 23 is down the end of the last dock, which is F Dock. The area is roped off to keep you from getting down there. He did not see MJ yet at any of the festivities.

Greatest fishing tournament in the world, and the Super Bowl of sport fishing.

There's a new leader.......
79.5# on a small boat.
This local gentleman also won the 2008 WMO.

There is a pretty active thread on the WMO over in the mid-atlantic section if it helps.

Capt Charlie Fish Whistle is sitting on pins & needles waiting for the last weight in, if his fish holds he will have captured his second WMO win for heaviest WM, he won 2008 WMO. Not bad for local recreational captain, but he is one of the best fisherman in the mid atlantic waters.
