Default 28 Mile Wreck area NJ

Hoping to head offshore this week and find some tuna. Can anyone share recent experience at the wreck or other inshore spots out of Townsends Inlet? Thanks

I heard they actually caught some tuna at the cigar, which is very close to the 28 mile wreck. A lot of action around. You're best bet is go into local tackle shops buy some bally ho and ask for where you should go. Your range and weather are most important.

Makes sense. It's a giant lump. I always wondered if the big ones were deep early in the season.
