Default Bomber Lure Question

I found this lure floating in a weed patch.
Is this something you would put in your spread while trolling for Dolphin?

I wouldn't say it's best use is trolling...by a long shot. You could however use it as a pitch bait once you get a hookup and the bull is hanging around.

Thats a surface lure that has to be trolled around 5-7 mph, which to me is slow compared to the squids I splash on top for mahi. Small tuna and bass types eat em up.

I wouldn't troll it, but I would dang sure cast it to fish I see under the weed line or other floating object.

Thanks guys.
The hooks are pretty rusted. Think I'll put some new hooks on it and use it as a pitch bait.

Default Wind Cheater

Al McReynolds' State and World Record Marine Striped Bass Al McReynolds pulled a World Record striper from the Atlantic fishing at night off the Vermont Ave. jetty in Atlantic City following days of September Nor'easter storming in 1982. HE was using a wind Cheater & a Penn 710 Spin fisher. An interesting story about money and friendship won & lost.
