Like I said- you have no clue- shut your pie hole.

You're the one running your mouth. I'm just saying you're full of it.

That captain is lucky he didn't threaten me or my friends like that. I would have climbed up that tower and went Chuck Norris on his azz. My foot would have been so far up his ass you'd smell my feet on his breath. My friends uncle was a black belt in karate and taught me a couple of things.

My wife read the article and said: THIS WILL BE YOU!!!

His vessel documentation is also expired. According to the national vessel documentation center, it expired 2/28/2018.

Tsk tsk. It also doesn't have a coastwise service designation, which is required for a charter vessel.

I guess he wasn't a stickler for rules. But I'll bet his coast guard investigator is.....

Btw, that isn't trivial. They take it very seriously.

To the guy bragging about bringing a gun on his charter? Most captains I know would toss you, or the gun overboard. Without permission you don't take a firearm on someone else's boat.

It seems that in FL, you are correct. It's a misdemeaner. Chapter 790 Section 151 - 2012 Florida Statutes - The Florida Senate

But he could still get a year just for that one charge. Though no gun was seized by the FL cops.

This^^^^^

If they insist they can let me have the weapon and I will secure it.

I ask them before we leave the dock and make it very clear that the charter is over if I find out about it.

It makes it too hard for me if I decide to snort some coke and hold them hostage to carry out my duties.
